Grammy winner David Foster, 72, knows there’s a lot of chatter around the just about 35-year age gap between him and his wife, Katharine McPhee, 37 — but can pay it no mind.
“People all the time make the reference with Kat and I with the age difference, however I’ve at all times said there’s so many things that may carry a wedding down, and age distinction is just one of them,” he instructed People.
“There’s so many things that may go mistaken. We think we now have it pretty in combination.”
Foster speaks from enjoy: He’s been married 5 instances — including once to former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Yolanda Hadid — and has five daughters, seven grandchildren, and one son with McPhee: Rennie, nearly a year previous.
The mega-producer, who has worked with stars like Celine Dion, Michael Bublé and Josh Groban, was once criticized recently for proudly sharing a photo of McPhee.

Comments abounded that Foster’s commentary was sexist and outdated.
Foster, who has in large part been a behind-the-scenes figure in the tune business, has in the previous couple of years began performing through himself. Last month he appeared on the Wynn Las Vegas Encore Theater with his show “An Intimate Evening with David Foster.” It returns for three extra dates this April — and will include a discuss with from McPhee.
“When she comes out, she will get such thunders of applause,” he mentioned, “I love it. I love having her with me.”
