An 18-year-old teen from Georgia has been sentenced to life in jail for strangling his sister to death in a battle over a WiFi password. 

Kevon Watkins was once handed down his life in jail sentence with out the potential of parole on Friday, discovered to blame of strangling his 20-year-old sister Alexus Breanna Watkins to death in their Macon house on February 2, 2018. 

Kevon had waived his right to a jury trial and selected to have a Bibb County judge come to a decision his destiny and was once discovered in charge of legal homicide. 

He was once Sixteen when the killer argued with his mother argued over the Internet provider in their home and the altercation escalated into his sister's death.

Kevon had changed the WiFi password so he may just play video video games without having his family members slowing the web connection.

Alexus joined the battle, fearing that Kevon was once about to turn out to be physical with their mother, according to a unlock by way of the Macon District Attorney's Office. 

Kevon and Alexus then began to battle and fell onto the bottom. When their mom couldn't separate them, she referred to as police. 

Evidence and testimony presented in the trial confirmed that Kevon placed his sister in a choke-hold and held her there for an estimated quarter-hour. 

Kevon launched his sister only after deputies raided the house and ordered him to.

His clutter brother had also referred to as 911 on him, calling Kevon 'loopy'. 

'When he called, he said the next: "My brother is trying to hit my mother."' The dispatcher asked, "Is he on medication." And the 13-year-old stated, "No. He’s just crazy. … He put her in a chokehold, threatening to beat my mom trying to get him off my sister,"' Bibb Superior Court Judge Verda M. Colvin stated at the sentencing.

His movements constituted prison homicide, not manslaughter as he did not intend to kill his sister. He deliberately placed her in a choke-hold, which is thought to be irritated assault, and resulted in her death. 

'This act of violence resulted in an unspeakable tragedy for this family. I hope this verdict and sentence closes the door in this bankruptcy of their lives and that they are going to be ready to begin to heal,' District Attorney David Cooke stated.     

The trial lasted for two days and integrated testimony from a deputy who mentioned he discovered the teen choking his sister when he arrived on the scene.
