Hells Kitchen winner Holli Ugalde denied promised dream job

Hell's Kitchen Season 7 winner Holli Ugalde and Chef Gordon Ramsay

The soul-sucking destiny of having to endure chef Gordon Ramsay’s profanity-laced tirades is dangerous enough, however imagine what it might be like when you won and have been STILL denied your promised dream job!  Welcome to the arena of deficient Holli Ugalde, winner for season 7 of Hell’s Kitchen.

The prize for winning the show used to be meant to be a 6-month run operating alongside Ramsay at the tremendous swanky soon-to-reopen Savoy Grill at London’s well-known Savoy Hotel.  So what’s the fu*&ing drawback right here?!?  Well it looks like Holli used to be denied a work visa through the Home Office, the company in control of immigration for Britain.   As of this post there has been no particular reason provided for the denial.

Ugalde, a 25-year-old single mom was clearly disenchanted with the location.  She mentioned that she was:

“Incredibly excited once I received and felt crushed after I came upon I wouldn’t be going to London.  It is deeply disappointing that I will no longer be working on the Savoy Grill.”  She added that, “Winning Hell’s Kitchen used to be an ideal experience but I will not go to London. I have been so lucky in all the opportunities that experience come up since profitable Hell’s Kitchen and I'm thinking about my future career as a chef’.”

The eternally profane Ramsay took the cowardly superstar way out and let a spokesman do his talking for him in regards to the state of affairs.  Ramsay’s rep mentioned that:

“In spite of our absolute best efforts, we have been unable to obtain a work visa for Holli to meet her prize at the Savoy Grill in London. Holli elected to receive the money prize instead.”

Well possibly Holli will likely be at an advantage in the long run not having to endure at the hands of Ramsay again.  She goes to get that cash prize and has already introduced that she has been named the signature chef at Fort Lauderdale’s B Ocean scheduled to open next month.
